Our mission at Thousand is to make safety seamless and help get you moving. Before starting the company, I never wore a helmet, even as a long-time cyclist. But after tragically losing a friend in a bike crash, I knew I had to change. Instead of settling for the "sci-fi" looking helmets on the market, I set out to design one that people would actually want to wear.
We named our company "Thousand" as a daily reminder of our goal to help save 1,000 lives by creating helmets that people enjoy using. As a Climate Positive business, we measure, reduce, and offset 110% of our annual carbon emissions to have a positive impact on the planet. And with our Anti-Theft Replacement Policy, if your helmet is ever stolen while locked to your bike, we'll replace it for free.
Our helmets are designed to provide seamless safety without compromising style or comfort. They are certified for cycling, roller skating, and skateboarding in North America and Europe, and feature a hidden PopLock channel behind the logo where you can securely thread your U-lock to lock up your helmet. The magnetic buckle ensures a pinch-free closure, while the easily adjustable dial fit system allows you to find the perfect comfortable fit.
For added breathability, our helmets have seven air vents and three cooling channels to keep you cool. The vegan leather straps are sustainable and sweat-free. And if you're ever in an accident and your helmet is damaged, we'll replace it for free through our Free Accident Replacement policy.
