Prior to founding Thousand, I was a longtime cyclist who never wore a helmet. However, after losing a close friend in a fatal bike crash, I knew this had to change. Instead of settling for the "sci-fi" looking options on the market, I set out to design a helmet people would actually want to wear.
We named our company "Thousand" as a daily reminder of our goal to help save 1,000 lives through creating helmets that prioritize both safety and style. As a Climate Positive business, we proudly offset 110% of our annual carbon emissions, actively working to minimize our environmental impact.

Fit Notes: Every head is unique, but our integrated dial fit system makes it easy to find your perfect fit. Simply turn the dial clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen. You can also remove interior fit pads without compromising safety to achieve your preferred fit.
