In 1970, Jim O'Neal began attending his races with some spare tires and parts to sell to local riders, marking the birth of his first big product, the Preston Petty fenders. These fenders were in high demand as off-road racing was gaining momentum, and everyone needed better parts, apparel, and accessories to compete. It was then that Jim O'Neal Distributing Inc. was established.
The helmet features a polycarbonate/ABS shell construction, weighing approximately 1590g (± 50g). It boasts a moisture-wicking, removable, and washable air-channeled comfort liner that provides optimal ventilation through the integrated vent holes. The helmet also includes an integrated face shield and a height-adjustable helmet shield, ensuring a customized fit. The padded chin strap with a Double-D safety lock ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the helmet meets both DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.05 safety standards, making it suitable for street, enduro, side-by-side, and adventure bike use. The helmet is 100% nylon and imported.
