Valiant II Modular Helmet for LS2 Helmets
The LS2 Valiant II is a versatile modular motorcycle helmet with a 180-degree chin bar flip. The newly designed rotating mechanism is smaller and slimmer than the original, creating a more aerodynamic shell. The Valiant II retains all the features of the original Valiant with a new modern look.
The helmet's shell is constructed out of Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) and ranges in size from X-Small to 3X-Large, with 2 shell sizes for a perfect fit. It meets or exceeds DOT FMVSS 218 and ECE 22.05 standards, and also meets ECE "P" and "J" standards as both an open and full-face helmet.
The "A Class" Polycarbonate shield is optically correct, scratch and UV resistant, and Pinlock ready. The quick change shield system is built into the helmet, and it comes with a Pinlock insert in the box. The helmet also has a built-in sun shield.
The Valiant II uses a quick release chin strap for a secure fit, and reflective trim inserts on all sides of the bottom gasket ensure great visibility on the road. The fully adjustable, multiport, dynamic, flow-through ventilation with channeled EPS keeps the rider cool, and the dual adjustable top ports allow for even more customization of the airflow.
In terms of the fabric type, the helmet is made of 50% Nylon and 50% Spandex, and it is made in the USA or imported. The ultra-light, strong yet flexible shell uses LS2's proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) Twin Shield System, and the drop-down sunshield is operated by a cable slider for smooth and dependable sun protection. The removable Thermo Form comfort padding is made of a fabric that keeps the rider cool and comfortable.
